AP Language Assessment 2020 - B Essay SamplesAP Language Assessment (AP LA) 2020 Exam: English Essay Sample contains several AP Language Assessment (AP LA) 2020 Exam: English Essay Sample instructions which include essay topics on Literature, History, Grammar, World Places, Geography, and Written Expression. The exam is divided into sections. Each section provides specific goals and objectives to be accomplished during the examination. The four main topics for each exam are; Language/Speech, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.Students must first decide what area of English they will focus on during the exam. For this reason, all students must choose a topic area prior to completing the exam. Some students choose Literature while others choose History or a Geography topic.Students are then presented with essays in which they must answer questions related to their area of study. If there are specific details to be addressed, students must complete those details in the essay. Some examples of questions students will be asked are; 'What kind of literature do you prefer?'Questions students must answer for each essay sample are also found in the AP English Language test. Some examples of questions include; 'What characteristics or events influenced you as a child?' and 'Describe a time when you made a decision and did not always follow through.'The teacher will examine the answers students provide and decide if they achieve AP language objectives. The teacher will then rate the students' results. The teacher will evaluate the student's writing skills and will decide whether or not the student will be allowed to take the advanced placement exam in English or not.Students must write three essays per section to pass the AP English language course. Students must choose the topic of the essay from the list provided to the teacher. Itis possible for students to choose a different topic from the one on the list but this is not common.Some students select a topic from a literatu re category and then select a topic from a writing category. Others will select topics based on location and word or sentence structure. Students are able to choose one of the essay samples in either category, or may write an original essay.Writing an original essay is challenging because of the variety of topics that students may choose from. After a student has chosen his or her topic, the student should read through the AP English Language essay samples and choose the best one for him or her. The student must then start writing the essay. The student must use the same style of writing used for the other essays.
